Hubei Science & Technology Museum was located at the cross section of Optical Valley High-Tech Avenue and Huashan Avenue , the core area of the Optical Valley of Wuhan City. The museum covers 190,000 ㎡ of lands, the total build-up area is 72,000㎡. After completion, the new museum will become one of the top five science and technology museums in China, with an average daily reception capacity of 8000 person, a peak daily reception capacity of 13000 person, and an annual reception capacity of up to 2.45 million person. It would be the largest and most advanced science and technology exhibition hall and an important science and education site in Central China, and also one of the new landmarks of Optics Valley.

A total of 3000kvar harmonic elimination reactive power compensation modules and LBFK switching control units have been used in this project. The expected effect has been achieved.
