Taiyuan Metro is an urban rail transit system serving Taiyuan city of Shanxi Province and all areas of Taiyuan Metropolitan Area. According to the Taiyuan Rail Transit Network Plan in August 2015, the Taiyuan Metro planning network consists of 5 urban lines and 3 city lines, and the total length of the long-term planning line network is about 266.2 km.

A total of 1280A SFR-APF has been used in this project. The expected effect has been achieved.
